Welcome to our help centre! If you have any questions or are struggling with anything hopefully you will be able to find the answer here. Since Moderneopets does some things quite a bit differently we'll also be listing differences through here too to avoid confusion.
About Moderneopets
Moderneopets is a passion project made by Hazer using the PHP Laravel Framework.
The goal is to recreate that nostalgic feel of the older Neopets that most of us love and miss - whilst also including as much of the newer content as possible, and throwing in some custom content in the mix.
Another complaint that a lot of users have with Neopets is unattainability - or things being a bit too grindy. Moderneopets plans on curbing down the difficulty slightly, whilst also not making things too easy. As for unattainability as an issue - we plan on things always being available. That means no (properly) retired items, and ways to earn old event items that you may have missed.
Moderneopets is not directly monetized in any way, be they ads or premium subscriptions, however it does provide perks to those who support the project via Patreon.
