Depending on what kind of Neopian you are - today is a day to either celebrate or dread... for today The Neopian Pound opens its doors to Neopians far and wide to either discard their unwanted Neopets - or pick up those who have been carelessly and heartlessly abandoned.

Don't fret though, as the pound does far more than just take in unwanted Neopets. Their services allow you to transfer your Neopet to a friend or other wanting owner, and even allow you to exchange Neopets completely with another Neopian.

If that wasn't impressive enough - they also have the ability to swap the identification numbers that are given to each pet on birth. Allowing you to get the perfect number for your pet... if you can find someone willing to trade that number, of course.

These services do not come free though, and depending on what service you want to use with certain Pets you can end up racking up quite the Neopoint bill... but without charging the pound won't be able to continue their service, so it's something we'll have to suffer with.
