A meteor has crashed into Kreludor, which is nothing new, but this one seems...strange.

It's also one of the few meteors that is large in size...

We're updated the rules, clarified some things further, updated the CSS rules guidelines to be more lax and went into further information about our policy on the kind of language that's acceptable on Moderneopets.

Hope this clears up some questions you may have had, and we'll be looking into more clarifications and changes to it later.

Faerieland's doors open yet again! The Faerieland Employment Agency has launched with plenty of requests for owners and their Neopets to complete for rewards. Some rewards are more generous than others, and some jobs require special coupons that you can get around the site.


Since our Employment Agency works a bit different from normal Neopets, we've made a handy Differences page that you can access whilst you're there, which will explain the ins and outs of our system for you.

To celebrate Ginko day, we're releasing Ginko memorabilia! Thank to the creator of the Ginko, Under - we have a few items to drop off to you all... 16 plushies, 2 books and a toy! To make things better and to add the cherry on top - we've imbued 6 of those plushies with magic, so it'll be even easier to get your very own Ginko in some nice colours now.

Wondering what shop stocks what? Well thankfully on the shops page the icon shows the newest stocked item, so that should help you find your Ginko fix. Want to see the majority of the items added? Search Ginko using our search and you'll see all the plushies and more Ginko themed items.

You must forgive these cute little creatures, for they do not have sight! They instead use their other senses to navigate around and aren't used too being outside of their natural cave habitat. However it seems like they've been discovered on Moderneopets recently and are excited at the thought of making friends, so they've come out of hiding!

You can create them right away over at create a pet, but if you're lacking in pet slots (due to obsessively hoarding all your favourite names) then do not fret! There are a bunch of Ginko morphing potions out now and stocking in Kaus, so I guess it's time you stalk her wares to see if she's got any.

They have graciously decided to bless Moderneo with their cute species, and thanks to the users Maikia and kangaloon helping with some of their recolours - we can release a whopping 28 colours for the Ginko straight away!!

The explore maps Happy Valley, Terror Mountain and Ice Caves have been added - though most things you click on in them will lead to a 404, Donny has opened his toy repair so that won't happen for him!

If you have any broken bags of Neopoints lying around from underwater fishing, now is the time to use them - as if donny is successful in repairing them you could net 2000-4000 Neopoints from them!

Though he's not a master craftsmen (don't tell him I said that to you!) so sometimes he will make a mistake and end up losing the broken toy permanently and giving you a replacement, or turning it into something useless... Either way, it's worth visiting him!

If you head on over to the rainbow pool and go into the All Neopet Colours area, you will notice that now you will be able to see the circle poses of all results from a species / colour search right away, instead of a grid which you would have to click the individual pose you'd want to see.

More than that - you can now view every single pose of any colour that exists, just click the circle pose from the result and you will be taken to a page which shows you all the poses in full size, so you can better choose what you want to make your pet in the future. (Or just stare at the pretties...)
